Here are some good reasons to make up your mind:

• This is a chance to have face to face classroom tuition over 5 days with some of the best Bluegrass and Old-Time instructors in the world!

• Showcases and Tutor Concert will feature unique line ups. only ever seen at Sore Fingers Week. of these top musicians which are specifically for Sore Fingers attendees only. As stated by a student and I quote: “the showcases are worth the money alone”.

• Experience the joy of being in a Scratchband and performing in the Thursday Student Concert with all the advantages of a fully equipped stage with lights, a sound system and a large extremely supportive audience. Scratchbands who join this scheme will be mentored by experienced musicians and if you don’t want to perform there is also a “Non-performing Scratchband” option.

• Meet up with old friends and make new ones with people who love making music.

We still have accommodation available in dormitories and for caravans and tents.

Due to cancellations, we have ended up with some vacant places on highly sought after courses. These are:

Ron Block -Bluegrass banjo: 2 places
Joe Walsh – Mandolin: 1 place

Although Sami Braman’s Old-time Fiddle class is full, we haven’t had enough booking enquiries to justify a second class. If you are a beginner or improver on Old Time Fiddle, why not consider booking onto the beginner’s course where Old-time Fiddle is being covered.

Places are available on most classes except as indicated on the list below.
